The role

To support our growing team we are seeking a skilled Senior Paid Media Lead to join us in crafting thumb-stopping advertisements for clients across a range of sectors and markets.

The Senior Paid Media Lead position will be the ideal role for somebody already working in performance marketing role with 4+ years' experience and a proven track record delivering for clients. You will report into our Paid Media Manager and support them on continuing to build and deliver on our paid media proposition.

You should have an inherent curiosity, willingness to learn and experiment. We are looking for a candidate comfortable working across a range of paid media platforms with knowledge of Google Ads, Bing, and Meta, while experience with the likes of YouTube and LinkedIn would be a nice to have – with training available to support in developing your knowledge of platforms you are less familiar with.

As an integral part of our integrated team, you will be required to collaborate closely with the wider performance marketing team, including our Organic Media (SEO, Content & PR) experts as well as individuals from other departments such as web design and development.

In this role, you will:

  • Lead client relationships on paid media accounts forming strong relationships with key stakeholders
  • Manage the set up and day to day running of client paid media accounts including but not limited to PPC, GDN, YouTube and Paid Social
  • Demonstrate a good understanding of business performance metrics and how paid media channels can contribute towards profitable acquisition
  • Oversee campaign strategies and media planning including perspectives on messaging and ad creative
  • Take ownership of your own workload, including prioritisation of tasks, performance monitoring, optimisation and reporting
  • Provide accurate and insightful reports on paid media performance, presenting findings and offering recommendations to both clients and key stakeholders on a regular basis
  • Identify new opportunities within paid media channels by keeping up to date on the latest trends and industry standards
  • Forecast & calculate projected results of campaigns and manage budget trackers, spends and phasing
  • Comfortable deploying a blend of manual and automated campaign types based on their likelihood to deliver results for our clients
  • Talk confidently to clients demonstrating you are an expert in your field
  • Assist the Paid Media Manager in developing effective strategies to pitch to both new and existing clients
  • Support Paid Media Executives in their development through mentoring and shadowing
  • Demonstrate a solid understanding of using analytics platforms including GA4 to assess the performance of campaigns
  • Independently manage your time your time and record it alongside tasks in the appropriate platform(s)

Qualifications

Relevant qualification / degree or industry experience. Proven track record delivering high performing paid media strategies and campaigns for clients.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 4 years of paid media related experience
  • Excellent organisational skills – the ability to manage multiple projects and campaigns for our clients
  • Capability to write effective ad copy and messaging aligned to campaign goals
  • Advanced user of Microsoft Office suite including Excel and PowerPoint
  • A good comprehension of commercial value and evaluating the success or failure of a project in business terms
  • A flexible individual, comfortable in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and adept at communication at all levels
  • Comfortable speaking with and presenting to both internal and client stakeholders

Nice to haves

  • Experience of platforms across the Google Marketing Platform suite including Search Ads 360
  • Experience building reports in Google Data Studio
  • Ad creative design experience e.g., Figma
  • Experience working on B2C and B2B client accounts
