The SEO Manager position is the ideal role for an ambitious individual already working in an SEO specific role with 4+ years’ industry experience and a proven track record delivering SEO strategies for clients in a fast paced digital agency environment.

You will be managing and delivering strategies for our partners as well as sharing your knowledge when mentoring other team members.

The ideal candidate will have experience working in a fast paced digital agency, and will be passionate about delivering a high standard of work.

In this role, you will:

  • Manage and deliver SEO strategies to a high standard achieving KPIs
  • Ensure all partners have a future proofed strategy in place
  • Manage and retain all assigned partners
  • Identify, highlight and propose key growth opportunities for partners
  • Identify and escalate any potential issues at the earliest opportunity
  • Undertake research on-behalf of partners and stay up to date on best practice and search engine updates to ensure we are always adding value
  • Understand the needs of individual sectors to ensure optimal performance
  • Be able to demonstrate your multi-channel understanding to deliver the best ongoing solutions for our partners
  • Perform in-depth technical health-checks on client websites and feedback issues with recommendations
  • Organise and run client meetings and attend new business pitches
  • Mentor and develop SEO Apprentices / Executives / Leads
  • Lead the collaboration of other team members to deliver SEO campaigns
  • Educate other teams on SEO benefits and champion best practice
  • Take part in weekly SEO updates to be shared both internally and externally

Qualifications

  • Relevant qualification, degree or significant industry experience

Requirements

  • At least 4 years' experience in an SEO specific role
  • Thorough understanding of search engine optimisation principles and the latest techniques
  • Proven track record delivering SEO strategies for clients
  • Adept in carrying out technical SEO audits
  • Excellent client management skills
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Able to liaise effectively with other teams
  • An appetite to learn and develop, continually expanding your SEO knowledge

Desirables

  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Knowledge of ecommerce platforms such as Magento, Shopify and Vend
  • Strong business writing skills and ability to produce high quality reports
  • Project management skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks
  • Knowledge of Google Analytics, Webmaster tools and ability to utilise their data
  • Good understanding of HTML
  • Speak an additional language
